Conference information

EQTC 2019 will offer a unique blend between high-level scientific sessions focused on the advances in quantum technologies, and policy sessions covering the Quantum Flagship agenda.

 

Scientific sessions :

  • invited talks, in plenary sessions.

  • contributed talks, selected from the submitted abstracts, plus the presentations of the 19 projects funded through 1st call for project of the Flagship.

  • posters, selected from the submitted abstracts, with wide slots for presentation and discussion, including a beer event.

Authors can submit abstracts in each of the pillars of the Quantum Flagship: quantum communication, quantum computing, quantum simulation, quantum sensing, basic science and cross cutting activities (select one area when submitting).

 

 

Policy sessions:

The objective is to provide a full update on the European Flagship momentum, strategies and related opportunities for QT communities (public research and industry):

  • Overall presentation of the Quantum Flagship and the perspectives

  • Flagship working group and strategies, each one displayed and discussed through an overall presentation in plenary and a thorough discussion in parallel sessions

    • Flagship Strategic Research Agenda (parallel session per pillar)

    • Innovation Working Group

    • Education and Training Working Group Standardization, international cooperation and communication towards citizens will be discussed in parallel sessions
